Cube cabinet frameHow Magic Cube LED Displays Are Engineered
A cube LED display is not a flat screen folded into a box — it is 4, 5, or 6 independent faces joined by CNC-machined 90° corners into one 3D display.
Museum exhibits, retail flagships, trade show booths, and corporate lobbies increasingly need a display that works from every approach angle. A magic cube LED display does exactly that — each face is an independent LED screen, and the CNC-machined aluminium frame joins them at true 90° with seamless corner joints.
Every cube starts with your face count (4, 5, or 6) and face size. Four standard tiers from 320×320 mm (minimum) to 1000×1000 mm — each tier has matched pixel pitch options. Edge lengths above 1 m are custom projects confirmed by our engineering team.
All faces use magnetic front-service modules — swap individual modules from the front with no rear clearance. Mounting options: floor-standing, ceiling-suspended, or rotating display base.

Why Magic Cube Performs Differently
Six engineering decisions that matter — from the CNC frame to multi-channel content sync.
90° Right-Angle Splicing · ±0.05mm Tolerance
Aluminium frame CNC-machined to exact 90° beveled edges with ±0.05mm tolerance. Custom-cut module housing edges at corner joints. Dedicated corner locking system connects adjacent cabinets. Achieves seamless right-angle splicing — no gap between faces. Same technology used in high-precision industrial enclosures.
Each Face Independent · One Controller
Each face of the cube is an independent display channel — can play different content or all faces can synchronize. Novastar multi-output controller maps each face independently. Content can wrap across adjacent faces for a seamless 3D effect, or each face can show completely different video feeds.
SMD for Standard · COB for Touch-Safe IP54
SMD: standard option, P1.2–P4, lower cost, good for elevated installations. COB: premium option, P0.9–P1.8, 5H surface hardness, IP54 touch-safe, 20,000:1 contrast. Choose COB when the cube is at audience height and may be touched — museums, exhibitions, retail floor-standing cubes.
Floor-Standing · Ceiling-Suspended · Wall-Corner
Floor-standing: heavy-duty base with internal cable management. Ceiling-suspended: steel cable suspension with load-spreading anchor plate. Wall-corner: 2 visible faces, 3 hidden faces — mounts into a room corner for a pseudo-3D effect. Anti-tilt brackets for seismic zones available.
Hidden Cabling · Single-Point Power
All power and signal cables route internally through the cube's hollow center. Single power entry point with internal distribution. Single signal entry with internal daisy-chain to all faces. Zero visible cables from any viewing angle. Poka-yoke color-coded connectors prevent installation errors.
Front-Service on Each Face · Individual Face Removal
Each face of the cube is independently removable via the corner locking system. Magnetic module attachment on each face allows front-service — individual LED modules can be replaced without removing the face panel. Complete face replacement takes under 10 minutes with 1 technician.
Where Magic Cubes Excel
Four core deployment scenarios — from museum exhibits to retail showcases.
Museum & Science Center Exhibits
Floor-standing 6-sided cubes as interactive 3D displays. COB display surface for public touch safety. Each face shows different scientific visualizations. Interactive touch sensors on COB face. P1.2–P1.8 for close viewing (0.5-1.5m).
Retail & Brand Showcases
Ceiling-suspended or floor-standing cubes in retail flagship stores. Brand content on all faces. P2.5–P4 for 2-5m viewing distance. SMD option for cost efficiency. Often paired with floor projection for immersive brand storytelling.
Exhibition & Trade Show Booths
Portable 4-sided ceiling-suspended cubes. Lightweight aluminium frame for easy rigging. Flight-case packaging option for touring. Quick assembly — 2 technicians, 2 hours. P2.5–P4 for booth viewing distances.
Wall-Corner Pseudo-3D Display
3-face cube mounted into a room corner. 2 visible faces + 1 floor face. Creates the illusion of a floating digital cube emerging from the wall. Lower cost than full cube. Ideal for corporate lobbies and reception areas.
