Choose pitch using the nearest viewing position and the smallest important detail in your content. Foldable COB offers P1.25, P1.53 and P1.86, with respective resolutions of 512 × 1536, 416 × 1248 and 344 × 1032 pixels. Smaller pitch adds detail at the same display size. No. The standard NovaStar TB-series asynchronous player stores published content and plays it without a connected PC or phone. Use ViPlex Handy over Wi-Fi to publish from a phone, or prepare a compatible USB drive. For media on an SD card, transfer the files to your phone or USB drive first. The TB model and playback setup are matched to your chosen display.

Prepare artwork for the actual display canvas and pixel resolution. The 640 × 1920 mm Foldable display has a 1:3 aspect ratio, while the open 1280 × 1920 mm Tri-Fold COB is 2:3. A standard 9:16 portrait video needs cropping, letterboxing or a revised layout. Keep essential text and QR codes within the usable canvas, then test readability with your final content at the installation site.

A continuous picture across several posters needs a combined canvas, pixel mapping and enough LED output capacity. Foldable COB includes a NovaStar TB40 for standalone playback. When the combined image exceeds one TB40’s capacity, specify an additional video processor with sufficient LED sending outputs. Several units showing the same programme are a different setup: synchronisation and content publishing should be configured for that operating plan.
