Transparent Grid LED Display
P2.6 — P10.4 · 40–80% Transparency · Up to 5,000 nits · Aluminum Cabinet

Who Should Choose Transparent Grid
Transparent Grid is built for integrators and property owners putting see-through LED on large glass areas that need their own structure. If your project matches the left column, this is the right product.
- ✓ Large glass façades & curtain walls — need independent structure, not adhesive
- ✓ Daylight-facing storefronts — up to 5,000 nits keeps content readable
- ✓ No glass substrate yet — Grid stands on its own frame, no glass to stick to
- ✓ Hang / stack / fixed installs — three mounting methods, one cabinet
- ✓ Outdoor-facing façades — waterproof version available on request
- ✓ Custom cabinet dimensions — extrusion cut to your façade grid
- ✗ Existing glass, max see-through — see LED Film (90–95% self-adhesive)
- ✗ Finer-pitch floating strip look — see LED Holographic (P2.5–P6.25)
- ✗ Small single-storefront adhesive install — Film or Holographic on existing glass
- ✗ Minimal visual weight — Film is ~2.5 mm and a fraction of the mass
Transparent Grid — Physical Overview
Aluminum extrusion cabinet, 8.1–12.5 kg/m². Front service, hidden wiring, one-hand power box. Modules splice into 1000×500 and 1000×1000 mm panels.

Hanging InstallationWhat Makes Transparent Grid Different
Transparent Grid is a modular aluminum-frame transparent LED system — not a film, not a glued strip. It's the route when a large glass area needs real structure and daylight brightness.
The line splits into two constructions. HD Transparent uses symmetric pitch — horizontal and vertical spacing are identical — so content shows no distortion, at 40–50% transparency. High Transparent widens the spacing for 55–80% see-through, at the trade-off of lower pixel density. Pick the line by whether clarity or see-through matters more to the project.
Two engineering details matter in the field. First, the power box opens and closes with one hand — faster maintenance, lower labor. Second, wiring is concealed inside the frame, so the display reads as a clean grid of light, not a tangle of cables. An edge-protection design guards the LED strips against impact during install and transport. Cabinet dimensions can be cut to your façade grid at the factory.

Grid vs Film vs Holographic
Three transparent constructions, three jobs. Grid is the structural, high-brightness route for large façades; Film is the ultra-thin adhesive route for existing glass; Holographic is the fine-pitch strip look.

Six Field Decisions on a Glass Façade
Cabinet choices that show up on the install and on the maintenance call — not a feature list written for a brochure.
8.1–12.5 kg/m² — Aluminum Extrusion, No Crane for Most Panels
The cabinet is built from aluminum extrusion, holding the line at 8.1–12.5 kg/m² depending on pitch. A two-person crew can handle most panels without a crane or heavy lifting gear. Lighter dead load also means simpler engineering on the building side — less reinforcement on the mullions or structure you're fixing to.
Concealed Cabling — A Clean Grid of Light, Not a Tangle of Wire
Power and signal cabling run inside the frame, so the display reads as clean lines of LED against the glass. From the street, you see the content and the building behind it — not a curtain of cables. This matters most on storefronts and mall exteriors where the display is part of the architecture, not a bolted-on screen.
Power Box Opens With One Hand — Lower Maintenance Labor
The power box is designed to open and close with one hand, without tools. For a façade of dozens of panels, that's the difference between a service call taking minutes or hours. Front service means the technician never needs rear access — important when the back of the display is 20 storeys up a curtain wall.
HD Transparent — Symmetric Pitch, No Axis Stretch
On the HD Transparent line, horizontal and vertical pixel spacing are identical, so circles render as circles and text stays crisp — no uneven stretching in either axis. At 40–50% transparency and up to 147,456 dots/m², it's the line to pick when image integrity matters more than maximum see-through.
Up to 5,000 Nits — Readable Against Daylight
Brightness reaches 5,000 nits, which is the point where content stays legible on a south-facing storefront or a glass lobby flooded with sun. Lower-brightness transparent displays wash out in direct daylight; Grid is specified for exactly that load. Match brightness to the façade's orientation and sun exposure at quotation.
Anti-Collision Edges & Cabinet Sizes Cut to Your Façade
An edge-protection design guards the LED strips against impact during transport and install, reducing damage and downtime. And because the extrusion is cut in-house, cabinet dimensions can be customized to your façade grid instead of forcing the architect to work around a fixed module size.
Where Transparent Grid Fits
Six glass jobs where an independent aluminum cabinet and daylight brightness are the reason to pick Grid over adhesive film or strips.
Building Curtain Walls
Large glass façades that need their own structure. Fixed mount onto the mullion grid; front service keeps maintenance off the exterior. Recommended: High Transparent for maximum daylight through the wall.
Shopping Mall Exteriors
Daylight-facing façades where advertising must stay legible at noon. Up to 5,000 nits. Hidden wiring keeps the building elevation clean. Recommended: HD Transparent for crisp brand content.
Large Storefront Windows
Retail flagship windows where the merchandise behind the glass must stay visible. 40–80% transparency keeps sightlines; content runs without blocking the display. Recommended: HD for near viewing, High for see-through.
Auto Showrooms & Dealership Glass
Showroom glass where the cars inside and the street outside stay visible through the display. A transparent grid band carries brand content without blocking daylight. Recommended: High Transparent for maximum see-through.
High-Brightness Outdoor Advertising
Outdoor-facing façades that need 5,000 nits plus weather protection. Standard cabinet is IP30 indoor — specify the outdoor waterproof version (on request) for rain and dust exposure.
Exhibition Halls & Showrooms
Brand showrooms and exhibition stands that need a see-through display visitors can walk behind. Stacking mount suits temporary builds that relocate. Recommended: HD Transparent for close viewing.

Cabinet Sizing and Mounting
Transparent Grid is a new series. This page does not borrow case studies from Film or Holographic. Named project pages will be added as deployments go live. Until then, here is what the cabinet actually does on site.
Custom Cabinet Engineering — Extrusion Cut to Your Façade Grid
Building façades are rarely a clean multiple of 1,000 mm. A fixed module grid leaves awkward gaps at the edges — or forces the architect to redraw the mullion spacing around the screen.
The aluminum extrusion is cut and assembled to your project's actual grid, in-house. Non-standard widths and heights don't require a redesign — the frame is fabricated to match the wall, not the other way around.
"Custom cabinet sizing is where a real factory earns its keep. When the façade isn't a multiple of 1,000 mm, the answer isn't a bigger bezel — it's cutting the extrusion to the actual grid." — Kris Liang, Co-Founder & Lead Engineer
Three Mounting Methods, One Cabinet
A glass façade, an open atrium, and a storefront mullion each need a different fixing. A single mounting system forces a compromise on at least one of them.
Hanging suspends panels from steel cable above the glass. Stacking builds the screen up from a floor base frame. Fixed mount bolts cabinets to wall brackets or structural frame. All three use the same aluminum cabinet — 8.1–12.5 kg/m².
Front service across all three methods means maintenance happens from the display side — no rear access, no scaffolding behind a 20-storey curtain wall.
