Overview
A Size Tool, Not a Pitch Story
Most indoor walls fail the tape measure before they fail the pixel. Block exists so you can fill 3,250 mm or 2,750 mm with stock cabinets instead of a custom box.
Block is indoor fixed SMD GOB in seven pitches from P1.25 to P3.91. Every cabinet is 33 mm deep and 9.8 kg, aluminum die-cast, IP31 front and rear. The module is 250×250 mm across the range, so a 500 mm cabinet and a 1000 mm cabinet share the same spare.
The job Block is built for: the architect gave you a wall that is not a multiple of 500 mm. You mix 500×250, 750×250, 1000×250, and 1000×500 mm on one elevation. A 3,250 mm opening is two 1000 mm cabinets plus one 750 mm and one 500 mm. Leftover: zero. No custom extrusion. No waiting on a one-off die.
Inside the cabinet the hub is cable-less — power and data through board connectors, not a harness of ribbons. Cabinets rotate 90° for portrait or landscape. Dual-side is an option for a totem or a room divider. Service is from the front: pull a module off the face. The Shenzhen Triple-Fold reception used 98 stock cabinets and Block back-mount brackets — no welded steel on site.

Six Decisions That Make Block the Size Tool
What the cabinet actually does on a commercial wall — and what that means for the bid.
01 — Four Cabinet Sizes
500 / 750 / 1000×250 and 1000×500 mm — Hit the Opening With Stock
Every pitch uses the same four cabinets: 500×250×33, 750×250×33, 1000×250×33, and 1000×500×33 mm. Mix them on one elevation. A 3,250 mm wall is 1000 + 1000 + 750 + 500. A 2,750 mm wall is 1000 + 1000 + 750. Height stacks in 250 mm steps; two 250 mm cabinets sit beside one 1000×500. You do not wait on a custom die for a leftover 250 mm.
Integrator benefit: You bid a cabinet list, not a custom extrusion. Send width × height; the mix comes back in 24 hours.
02 — 33 mm / 9.8 kg
33 mm Thin, 9.8 kg — Same Number on Every Size
Depth is 33 mm across the four cabinets. Weight is 9.8 kg across the four cabinets. Aluminum die-cast, indoor IP31 front and rear. A 1000×500 cabinet and a 500×250 cabinet use the same load figure on the structural drawing. The Shenzhen Triple-Fold reception hung 98 cabinets on Block back-mount brackets — no welded steel frame on site.
Integrator benefit: One weight and one depth on the drawing. The GC does not re-price steel because you swapped a 750 for a 1000.
03 — Cable-less Hub
Cable-less Hub — Power and Data on the Board, Not in a Harness
Block cabinets use a cable-less hub: module power and data seat on board connectors. You are not dressing a bundle of ribbons behind a 33 mm cabinet. Fewer connectors means fewer loose pins after a truck ride and a faster first-light. Control is Novastar or Colorlight. Inputs: DVI, HDMI, SDI, AV, DP, VGA, YPBPR. Mains: 90–264 V AC.
Integrator benefit: First-light is a board seat, not a cable hunt in a 33 mm cavity. Service later is the same path.
04 — GOB Standard
GOB Is Standard — Not an Upgrade Line on the Quote
Glue-on-board resin covers the SMD lamps on every Block module. Churches, schools, and retail floors hit the wall with bags, mops, and fingers. GOB is still SMD — it is not COB — but it stops the common indoor failure: a dead lamp from a cleaning rag. Contrast is 5000:1. Refresh is 3840 or 7680 Hz. Grayscale is 16-bit. Viewing angle is 160° H / 160° V.
Integrator benefit: You do not upsell GOB. It is on the cabinet. The face survives a lobby, not just a locked rack room.
05 — 90° / Dual-Side
Rotate 90° or Run Dual-Side — Stock Cabinets, Not Corner Modules
The same cabinet rotates 90° so the 250 mm module grid runs landscape or portrait. Dual-side is an option when both faces of a totem or a room divider need content. 90° corners use standard cabinets — the Shenzhen Triple-Fold reception held 0.5 mm at the folds with 98 stock cabinets (70 × 1000×500 and 28 × 500×250), no custom corner modules.
Integrator benefit: You sell a fold or a two-face totem from the same SKU list. The spare kit does not grow a special corner part.
06 — Front Service
Front Service — Pull the Module Off the Face
Modules come off the front. No rear corridor. No opening finished drywall behind a lobby or a sanctuary wall. The module is 250×250 mm on every pitch, so a spare from a 500 mm cabinet seats in a 1000 mm cabinet. A technician stands in the aisle. Rear-access cabinets need about 600 mm behind the wall; most commercial interiors do not have it.
Integrator benefit: You can hang Block on a sealed wall. Service does not mean a Saturday demolition of the GC's finish.
Application
Scenarios
Where Block Goes on the Wall
Churches, halls, lobbies, retail, and classrooms. Not a control-room flagship — if operators sit under 2 m, use Fine Pitch.
01 — Church / Hall
Churches and Assembly Halls
Seating 6–20 m. Specify P2.5 to P3.91. Lyrics and IMAG stay sharp without paying for unused density. Front service on a sealed sanctuary wall. Read the church LED guide.
02 — Lobby / Reception
Lobbies and Reception Walls
Walk-up 2–5 m. Specify P1.56 or P1.95. 33 mm depth and 9.8 kg keep the back-mount light. Mix cabinet widths when the architect's opening is not a 500 mm multiple. Documented job: Shenzhen Triple-Fold, P1.953, 38.5 m².
03 — Retail
Retail and Brand Floors
GOB face for a floor that gets touched. 600 or 800 nits by pitch. Front service after hours from the aisle. Dual-side option for a totem in the circulation path. 90° rotate for a portrait end-cap.
04 — Education
Lecture Halls and Classrooms
P2.5 to P3.91 at lecture distance; P1.95 if students sit close. Front service so the university does not open the wall during term. Same 250×250 mm spare across cabinet sizes. IP31 indoor only.

FAQ
Common Questions from Integrators
Block ships four standard cabinets: 500×250, 750×250, 1000×250, and 1000×500 mm, all 33 mm deep. Mix widths on one wall. A 3,250 mm opening is two 1,000 mm plus one 750 mm and one 500 mm — leftover zero. Height stacks in 250 mm steps. Send width × height; an engineer returns a cabinet list and an EXW quote within 24 hours.
Choose Block when the wall dimension is the problem: four cabinet sizes, 33 mm depth, 9.8 kg, cable-less hub, GOB standard. Choose Brick when you need a 500 mm system with curve options and a heavier 19 kg structure at 43.7 mm. Same indoor job, different geometry. Block is the size tool. Brick is the 500 mm curve-ready tool. Do not mix them on one wall without a drawing review.
Choose All-in-One when the room is a standard 16:9 conference space and you want a plug-and-play TV, not a cabinet wall. Block is modular: you specify pitch, mix cabinet sizes, hang on a back-mount, and service from the front. If the client wants a remote, a stand, and no structural drawing, send them to All-in-One LED TV. If the opening is not 16:9 or they need 90° or dual-side, stay on Block.
Switch to Fine Pitch or COB Pro when operators sit under 2 m or the wall runs 24/7 in a control room. Block is indoor SMD GOB from P1.25 to P3.91 — right for churches, halls, lobbies, retail, and classrooms at walking or seating distance. Below 2 m, SMD pixel structure becomes visible and COB is the better surface. Do not specify Block as a control-room flagship.
For a church or hall, specify P2.5 to P3.91. Seating is usually 6–20 m; those pitches stay sharp on IMAG and lyrics without unused density. For a lobby or reception at 2–5 m, specify P1.56 or P1.95. P1.25 is the close-range Block option when guests walk the wall. Send seating distance and wall width; we return a pitch plus cabinet mix in 24 hours.
Block is front service. Modules pull from the face of the wall — no rear corridor, no opening finished drywall. A technician swaps a 250×250 mm module from the aisle. Rear-access cabinets need about 600 mm behind the wall; most commercial interiors do not have it. That is why Block hangs on sealed lobby and sanctuary walls. Read the front-service vs rear-access guide if the architect already closed the cavity.
GOB (Glue on Board) is standard on every Block cabinet. A resin layer covers the SMD lamps, so the module face resists knocks, dust, and moisture better than bare SMD. Churches, schools, and retail floors hit the wall. GOB is not COB — the lamps are still SMD — but it cuts the common indoor failure: a dead lamp from a cleaning rag or a backpack. Specify GOB as included, not an upgrade.
Block draws 100–200 W/m² average and 350 W/m² maximum at 90–264 V AC. Ingress is IP31 front and rear — indoor only. Contrast is 5000:1; refresh is 3840 or 7680 Hz; viewing angle is 160° H / 160° V. Warranty is 2 years. Certifications are CE, EMC, and RoHS. An engineer sizes breakers from your cabinet count, not from a generic per-m² guess.
Yes. Block cabinets rotate 90° so the same 250 mm module grid can run landscape or portrait. Dual-side is an option when you need content on both faces of a totem or room divider. 90° corners use standard cabinets, not custom corner modules. The Shenzhen Triple-Fold reception held 0.5 mm at the folds with 98 stock cabinets. Send the fold drawing before you lock the steel.
