As LED technology and display demand keep getting better, Mini/Micro LED is quickly becoming the next display technology. GGII LED Research Institute (GGII) thinks the global Micro LED market will be worth 3.5 billion dollars in 2025 and should hit 10 billion in 2027.

Why Mini/Micro LED is growing so fast?

With the micro pitch below 1mm, the technical route requirements are also more stringent. COB LED packaging technology is a great solution for narrowing LED screen pitches. CCM6000 Calibration System Solution

Doitvision’s CCM6000 calibration camera and Calibration Pro software make whole-screen and single-cabinet calibration a breeze. They’re a game-changer for COB screen calibration.

The CIE1931-XYZ filter in the camera accurately simulates how our eyes perceive brightness and color, giving us a realistic view of the world.

The camera has a 16-bit high-precision photoreceptor chip with a constant temperature cooling system, which makes it really accurate and stable at collecting brightness and color info from each lamp bead on the screen.

The Calibration Pro software’s algorithm helps to fix unevenness and color blocking issues in COB screens.

The camera has an ultra-high resolution of more than 60 megapixels, and a single partition can collect 3840×2160 LED light points. It uses USB 3.0 for data transmission, with a speed of up to 2.5 Gbps. A cabinet can be calibrated in just one minute, with the single calibration process automatically completing the high-brightness and low-brightness correction, which makes the COB LED screen calibration much more efficient.

Mica Production Line Automation Calibration Solution

This automated calibration solution for mica production lines is based on the original huge pixel calibration system. It solves problems related to ink color difference, calibration effect, and position of COB LED display.

Mica is an automated inspection system developed by Doitvision that can detect and pick out defective products automatically.

The system brings together top-of-the-line image capture gear, production line gear, and data storage and management servers. It can correct the whole chain, from PCB to finished lamp board, and sort ink colors, detect defects in lighting, automate single-module production line corrections, and maintain data on-site.

In addition, the brightness calibration is about 220 pieces per hour, and the chromaticity calibration is about 120 pieces per hour, which means it’s really efficient and precise.

As well as improving inspection technology, the Mica system also offers intelligent digital management. This includes modules such as a management platform, a cloud storage server, and a job control platform.

While the calibration is going on, the data is automatically linked to the product barcode and uploaded to the cloud platform. The software lets customers check the screen module info worldwide and download the matching module coefficients from the cloud.  It can solve a lot of problems, like keeping track of the coefficients.
